The Vinyl Collector jacket is inspired by vintage denim jackets from the 1930’s to 1950’s.
It features a cropped fit, curved sleeves with a vent, pleated fronts with two patch pockets and hand-worked buttonholes. It is sewn entirely on a single-needle lockstitch machine, which means no overlocked seams- the inside is finished as cleanly as the outside of the jacket.
The prototype is made from a locally sourced brushed twill in 100% wool melange. Other ideal fabrics for it include non-stretch denim, cotton canvas, linen canvas. The (Type II) jacket is made-to-order and is available in sizes XS-XXL.
