The Mood Reader jacket is an oversized jacket with grow-on sleeves. It features a boxy fit, two-piece sleeves, three patch pockets on the front, a one-piece collar and unique in-seam buttonholes. The pockets and buttonhole band are reinforced with hand-worked bar tacks which, along with the topstitching, are sewn in contrasting thread. It is lined with cotton satin that gives a soft yet structured interior.
It is sewn entirely on a single-needle lockstitch machine, with the inside finished as cleanly as the outside of the jacket, as always.
The prototype is made from vintage Italian fabric in 100% wool. Other ideal fabrics for it include denim, cotton and linen canvas and twill, and any medium to heavy weight wool.
