The Notetaker jacket is inspired by country jackets from the late 19th and early 20th century. It features a straight fit, a drop shoulder, curved sleeves, a two-piece collar and hand-worked buttonholes. The lined fronts have two large patch pockets and two in-seam chest pockets, while the back features a yoke and a wide pleat to accommodate for movement.
It is sewn entirely on a single-needle lockstitch machine, which means no overlocked seams- the inside is finished as cleanly as the outside of the jacket with flat-felled seams and bias- binding.
The prototype is made from locally sourced raw denim. Other ideal fabrics for it include cotton and linen canvas and twill, oilskin, dry oilskin and medium to heavy weight wool.
The Notetaker jacket is made-to-order and is available in sizes XS-XXL.
