The Booktrader jacket is a classic, unstructured worker jacket. It features a comfortable straight fit, curved sleeves, two-piece collar, four patch-pockets on the front and hand-worked buttonholes.
It is sewn entirely on a single-needle lockstitch machine, which means no overlocked seams- the inside is finished as cleanly as the outside of the jacket with flat-felled seams and bias- binding.
The prototype is made from a vintage Italian Prince of Wales fabric in 100% wool. Other ideal fabrics for it include non-stretch denim, cotton and linen canvas and twill, oilskin, dry oilskin and any medium-weight wool.
